Information sharing and assessment (ISA)
Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in Norfolk
The Information Sharing & Assessment Team have been formed to implement the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and Information Sharing into Norfolk, ensuring that practitioners become confident and capable of sharing information between each other in a safe and legal way.
The CAF is one of the key priorities of the Children & Young People’s Partnership board and both facilitates and necessitates effective multi agency working.

Countywide implementation is now underway, having begun in October 2005 in the East of the county. Training is being rolled out in phases centred on localities involving the local Statutory and Voluntary sector partners.
